Sandy joined the DPAS staff in March 2004. She has worked with all members of the adoption triad, but her primary focus is interacting with couples desiring to create or expand their families through adoption. Sandy’s heart for adoption started growing over 30 years ago when her nephew was added to her family via adoption. This incredible gift helped her realize the amazing sacrifice of birth parents who give their child the gift of a family. Sandy has found her true passion in serving DPAS families.
Strongly committed to serving others, Sandy brings to DPAS a wealth of experience in administrative detail as well as many years of voluntary services in the social services area, having served as Angel tree coordinator for twelve years at her local church.
Sandy has a bachelors of Science Degree from Southern Nazarene University in Business Administration and a Master of Arts Degree, Also from SNU, in Education, with emphasis on Communication Arts.
Sandy’s interest include sports (having served as SNU Sports Media statistician for men’s and women’s basketball for the past ten years); freelance writing, and spending time with her family – especially her two grandsons!
