We are so thankful for a time set aside to encourage and support birth moms who have placed their child for adoption through DPA, not only through our staff, but through fellow birth moms. Make sure to RSVP to 405.397.3140 so that we can get the Zoom link sent your way.

ADOPTIVE PARENT SEMINAR

FRIDAY, MARCH 1 – SATURDAY, MARCH 2

BY INVITATION ONLY

As part of the Home Study process, we require our adoptive couples to attend our Navigating the Journey Seminar. This seminar covers subjects such as, creation of a family, open adoption, the legal side of adoption, the adoption process for birth parents, multi-racial adoption, grief and loss, attachment, prenatal exposures, and parenting. We also have panels of attorneys, birth parents, adoptive families and adoptees who share their expertise and experiences with adoption.

The DPA Office is closed for every federal holiday and some church holidays. We are closed on March 29 in observation of Good Friday. You can still leave a message on our phones and send us emails and we will get back to you once we are back in the office on the next business day. Our pregnancy hotline is available to all expectant mothers, even when our office is closed, and you can call or text 405.397.3140 to contact one of our workers. If you have a mental health emergency, please dial 9.8.8.

2024 WALK FOR ADOPTION

SATURDAY, APRIL 6 | 9AM

FUNDRAISER – REGISTER NOW

Join us for our second annual Walk for Adoption at Scissortail Park! This family-friendly event begins with check-in at 9am along with free breakfast tacos from Rudy’s BBQ. The opening ceremony will begin at 9:30am with the walk immediately after. We will walk four laps around a route lined with signs featuring families touched by adoption. Registration is $25/adult and $15/child. Register today by clicking the link blue button.
